Halloween Tutu How to!

I don't know if you've seen these super cute tutus around on little girls, but I found some great instructions a while back on YouTube on how to make them, so I've made a few for gifts for friends lately.

I was lacking a model so little Miss Lamb-y volunteered for my photo shoots. She is a trooper. The picture above is of a cute little Halloween version and the pic below shows a shorter smaller tutu for newborns.
I also wanted to link you to this great you tube video (in case you are a visual learner like me). I love the easy way she cuts out all the tulle strips!

This is the same youtube video I used to make my daughter's tutus for her princess party (I actually posted a link about them on my website too!)!! I love how easy the video made it! Tutus are definitely a fluffy must for all little girls. Thanks for the post. They are a perfect easy homemade gift for Christmas!

Thanks for sharing. I like the video. I will definitely make one of these now. MY little girl just started ballet so it will be fun to have some extra skirts.

I was checking out the Pregnancy & Newborn Magazine Website and stumbled upon your family blog and now this one. Congratulations on your sweet baby girl! Your pictures are beautiful.
I saw this video about how to make this tutu on Youtube as well and was immediately inspired. I actually made a pink and brown one for my daughter's (Kate) first birthday. I also ironed on a sequinned crown on a sweet little white onesie, added pink leggings and she was really quite adorable!
I love this "See Jane Scrapbook" blog, too! Great ideas!
